The Problem

A New Cost Problem for Maritime Operators.

Inexpensive aerial threats can impose outsized financial, operational, and security consequences across fleets, terminals, and trade corridors. KINS Littoral (near-shore, port approaches, coastal facilities) and KINS Transit (vessel underway, high-risk transit) are designed to add a reusable, non-explosive interdiction layer before a low-altitude threat reaches the vessel, port, or protected corridor.

Environment: high-risk maritime transit. Operator: shippers, maritime security, P&I clubs. Threat: cruise missiles + small drones. Can launch from the protected vessel or a dedicated escort.

KINS Littoral — Port Authority & Coastal Defense. A port authority's operations center watches over cranes, fuel storage, and loading terminals — a facility that doesn't get to close for the day. When a low-altitude threat is picked up by the port's own sensors, KINS Littoral stands a reusable barrier layer across the approach, cued by the same threat warnings the security team already watches, engaging before the threat reaches its target — while vessel traffic keeps moving through the channel underneath.

KINS Transit — Reusable Interdiction for Vessels Underway. A commercial vessel — a container ship, tanker, LNG carrier, or bulk carrier — transits a high-risk corridor with no fixed perimeter and no shore-based sensor grid. KINS Transit is already staged before the vessel enters the corridor; when a threat is confirmed, the barrier deploys, intercepts well clear of the hull, resets, and the vessel continues its transit.
